DAAD Serial Summer School “Integrated Water Resources Management”

Overview

The coordinated management of water resources is fundamental for sustainable development. The integration of different disciplines and linkage of ecological, economic and societal development goals are essential when developing future water management plans. The aim of the Summer School is the transfer of interdisciplinary knowledge for water resources management and the professional, technical and methodological exchange between participants and research institutions in Germany. Modern management tools and techniques will be presented that are developed in running research projects in regions outside the European Union. The Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research - UFZ together with German Water Partnership host the DAAD Serial Summer School “Integrated Water Resources Management” for Master, PhD students and professional trainees with three consecutive Summer Schools from 2012 to 2014.

Please take note of this summer school on IWRM, organized by the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research – UFZ and the German Water Partnership e.V.

This event may be interesting notably for students from Vietnam, Jordan and Indonesia. See the official event flyer here.
