Andi Syukri from Indonesia carries out research for his master thesis at TU Braunschweig

Master of Science student Andi Syukri from the Andalas University, Padang – Indonesia is performing a six-months research stay from March until the end of August 2011 at the Leichtweiß-Institute (LWI).  He is supervised by M.Sc. Semeidi Hursin, a member of  the research team of Prof. Oumeraci, head of the Department of Hydromechanics and Coastal Engineering at LWI.

At the LWI research facilities  Syukri is carrying out laboratory experiments for  his master thesis „Parameterisation of coastal forest vegetation with flexible structure assumption for tsunami modelling”.
