Exceed scholar Amjad Al Tarawneh presents his PhD research topic

PhD Thesis: Impact of Soil Amended Superabsorbent Polymers on the Efficiency of Irrigation Measures in Jordanian Agriculture

Amjad Al Tarawneh’s study aims to investigate the usage of reclaimed water for irrigation purposes in sandy soil amended with different ratios of hydrogels.

The research activities are performed at Mutah University and Technische Universität Braunschweig. The field experiments under arid climate will be carried out at the test field located at Mutah University. Basic biological and chemical analyses are to be conducted at the biology department. Here, irrigation water, soil and plants samples are to be prepared for the analytical studies on nutrients and pollutants performed at the Institute of Environmental and Sustainable Chemistry.
