Exceed Scholarship holder from Sri Lanka launches test series at LWI, TU Braunschweig

MSc student Achala Soysa from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka is performing a six-months research stay at the Leichtweiß-Institute (LWI) at TU Braunschweig. He is working within the research team of Prof. Oumeraci, head of the Department of Hydromechanics and Coastal Engineering at LWI.

In the context of his master thesis proposal „Experimental Study on Hydraulic Stability of Submerged Geotextile Sand Container Structures”, Soysa benefits from the unique research facilities at LWI, featuring a wave flume to perform hydraulic model studies.
